Gilberto is very pleasant & explained step by step along the way, his crew is extremely skilled & worked tirelessly. My chimney was coming apart at the top, rain water leaking (i mean pouring) in. My style of brick is no longer available, but they did a great job customizing a transition with a closely matching style. Also repaired my angled concrete slabs. Looks great! No more leak! The timing was tight but they showed up at 7 AM on the day we requested and had the chimney removed and covered over by early PM. ADV provided a competitive estimate and completed the project on time and on budget. The masons that performed the rebuild effort were skilled, efficient and maintained the site. Which is not the way I usually hire people to do work on my house which included repair work on my existing fully chimney. But Dale and his crew were on time, did high quality work, were extremely clean and tidy for a messy business, and were always responsive. I would highly recommend using them. They're not anymore! All around I have no complaints. He communicated well, was fair in pricing and very detailed about what we needed to have done. The two men that Dale sent to do our chimney reported for work early, worked hard and their work ethic was very commendable! Other masonry companies also visited our house for consultations, but Dale was much more meticulous in identifying issues. Also He was easy to communicate with. Chimney work is tricky since, unlike other jobs, I can't climb up to see it myself. Even if they lied or exaggerated, I would never know. It's just a matter of trusting and proceeding with a job that costs a few thousand dollars. However, Dale's crew went above and beyond from the first day, sketching out exactly what work they were going to do and explaining it very kindly. I could 100% understood and trust them. They were punctual and courteous. Most importantly, I am very satisfied with the results. Josh B1013 days agoDale was great to work with while designing and building our brick mailbox. They are timely and fast, and do quality work. Whenever I had any questions, Dale was easy to reach and had the answers I needed. As soon as the materials came in to ADV Masonry from their suppliers, they were at my house completing that portion of the mailbox. There was three spots below the limestone cap where the shims were placed and a little more mortar was needed. I called Dale and someone was out the next day and fixed the issue stat. We’re so happy with the finished product, and cannot be happier with how the mailbox turned out. I would definitely recommend ADV Masonry to anyone looking to build a brick mailbox. What I appreciated with Dale was that he was direct and honest in his assessment. He also provided us with options for repair. Because of his approach we opted to select ADV. Scott Buckley1576 days agoWe needed to reroof our house. One chronic source of leaks was a chimney consisting of a large plywood box to which was mortared fabricated stones to make it look like a stone chimney. The flashing was wrong from the start, and it should have had over the top, which it didn't. After consulting with roofers we decided to remove the chimney entirely since we never used the gas connected to it. The roofers would remove the wooden box, but they didn't want to chip away the stones, mortar, and iron mesh. I thought the job might be too small, but I called ADV. Dale surveyed the situation, agreed the chimney was badly built, and gave me a reasonable bid to do the work. I was concerned about coordinating the timing with the roofers, but Dale sent a worker who did a meticulous job, on schedule, for the price quoted. Brick choice, mortar choice, tuckpointing, brick and sill replacements on multiple windows, and interior wall brick framing were all completed and look great. They also were able to extend a brick accent band and soldiered all of the windows to connect the old side to the new side beautifully. Tons of attention to detail and great communication. They did a great job matching the bricks to our 25 year old chimney and even chiseled out a couple bricks further down that needed replacing. Pawel Lech2118 days agoDale came out to take a look at our problem with rain water dripping into the flue. He immediately noticed the crack in chimney cap and recommened pouring a new one. He was very honest about his timeline and provided a quote later that day. He let us know ahead of time when they would be out. His team showed up as expected did everything quickly, cleaning, and safely. They even asked if they could leave the trailer outside our home which was nice and unnecessary but shows a level of consideration. Our chimney has never looked better. Its been a few months since they did the work and we no longer have a leak, so it was a job well done. Based on Dales reviews, assesment, and professional nature I didnt even bother with another estimate, but will tell you it was worth the money for the work and overall experience.Posted on Google

joseph ray2223 days agoI was impressed with the detail of the initial assessment of the work that Dale provided me. He noted several areas in my chimney that I had not noticed. His quote was not the lowest ,but because he was more thorough in his explanations, I went with him. His crew was professional and hard working. They removed the top portion of the chimney in one day and did the replacement work in a day and a half that also include repairs to brick columns at the entry.Posted on Google

Mike Devine2530 days agoCould not be more satisfied with the job that ADV Masonry did for us.We had 3 very high chimneys that required brick replacements, tuck pointing and cap repairs along with some work at ground level. Dale selected bricks and mortar that perfectly matched the 35 year old originals. The work was completed professionally and quickly with very little disturbance to us. The work areas where kept clean for the entire week they worked.The ADV tradesmen appeared to enjoy their work and the quality of the finished product confirms it. I had 4 estimates for the project. Dale was the lowest and the only one who would give a firm price because of the complexity of some of the scaffolding required.Posted on Google
